El Dr. Orlando Cañizares Jr. es un cirujano plástico diplomado por el American Board of Plastic Surgery que se especializa en cirugía estética y reconstructiva de la cara, senos y cuerpo. El se ha dedicado a perfeccionar el arte de la cirugía plástica utilizando las técnicas más recientes para lograr unos resultados admirables y  naturales.

Durante su residencia de cirugía, completó un año de investigación en NYU Institute for Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, en New York, uno de los centros de cirugía plástica más reconocidos de los Estados Unidos. Luego de finalizar su residencia de cirugía general, el
Dr. Cañizares Jr. completó una residencia de cirugía plástica de 3 años en el prestigioso Centro Médico de la Universidad de Tulane, en New Orleans. Durante su entrenamiento, tuvo la oportunidad de trabajar con líderes en el campo de la cirugía facial, cirugías de transferencia de grasa y de reconstrucción de senos. En adición, es autor de varios artículos publicados en revistas de cirugía plástica y ha presentado su trabajo en varias convenciones nacionales en los Estados Unidos.

Después de completar un extenso entrenamiento quirúrgico, el Dr. Cañizares Jr., está sumamente entusiasmado de regresar a Puerto Rico y unirse a la práctica de su padre el Dr. Orlando Cañizares para juntos ejercer la cirugía plástica, tanto cosmética como reconstructiva.
